Manchester City midfielder Cole Palmer admits he'd like to be playing more.
The 20 year-old has had nine starts in the Premier League this season, but admits he'd like more.
He told the Daily Mail, "I won't lie. This season has been tough. When you don't play, it affects you.
"When I have played, it hasn't been at the level I could have played at either. So it's not that I'm complaining.
"Maybe I tried too hard when I played because I wanted to show myself off.
"I may have put too much pressure on myself, and when I got the opportunity, I thought 'now I really have to do something' so that I could stay in the team.
"It has been frustrating, but I'm not giving up. The coaches believe me, that's what they told me. It is up to me to show myself."
