Manchester City midfielder Rodri focused on the positives after his side dropped points at the weekend.
Despite being 4-3 up against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, a late penalty meant that City had to settle for a point.
Despite being disappointed with the result, Rodri admitted that City's determination to continue fighting for every point was on display.
"I'm thinking we were very close to winning the game. That's the disappointment about this fact," he said post-game.
"We have the feeling sometimes when we are not ourselves, that the result we want is to win, it's important, but we know what we have to do to get it.
"At the same time, we keep pushing. Sometimes football is like this, we have to move forward. We have to correct some mistakes.
"As a team we support each other and we will move forward. We keep pushing.
"We go to the national team one point ahead, first in the league. We need to refresh and come back."
