Manchester City marked their Premier League title victory with a 1-0 win against Chelsea.

City won via an early goal from Julian Alvarez, with manager Pep Guardiola fielding several fringe players.

Kalvin Phillips was denied a goal by the post, while goalkeeper Stefan Ortega kept a clean sheet, denying efforts from Chelsea pair Raheem Sterling and Conor Gallagher.

Phillips later said: "It's an amazing feeling [winning the league].

"Everybody has supported me through a tough season and we've got there in the end. Everyone around the club is amazing and that's why we've won the league.

"The celebrations that we've had tonight will be in my mind forever and will push me on for next season.

"I haven't dreamt of it [winning the treble].

"Now we can turn our attention to the next trophy. Everyone wants the Champions League, it's the one at the top of the list and the one the lads speak about it the most.

"Some of the lads here have won five Premier League titles but this is my first.

"Pep has won so much in his career and if he can lead us to this treble he will be a happy man and will go down as the ghreatest manager in the world. I don't just want to win it for myself but also for him."

City teammate Bernardo Silva also said: "It feels great to win three in a row and five in six. There are so many teams that can win it so what we've achieved in the last few years has been really good. It's historic because not many teams have done it.

"Now we can enjoy it with our fans and think about the FA Cup final and Champions League final. We want to win all three. We are going to work a lot and will do our best to get those trophies.

"We will be competitive and be respectful for our final two games in the Premier League. If we switch off the it will be difficult to switch back on for the two finals.

"Everyone has been amazing, the staff and the managers included."
