Manchester City have secured the services of Mexican youth international Alex Alcala.
The 18-year-old has signed from the LA Galaxy youth setup, having impressed at youth tournaments in recent months.
The Manchester Evening News states that Alcala will likely stay with Galaxy for the time being.
The two clubs had an agreement from 2020 that allowed City to buy Alcala when they were ready.
He will now be a part of the City Football Group, which could lead to loan moves before he eventually gets a chance to impress at Man City.
The Citizens are also moving to sign highly rated teenage midfielder Claudio Echeverri from River Plate
