Talented United defender Harrison Parker, 16, is City's target.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, City are very close to signing the young defender.
Four other clubs were also said to be in the hunt for the defender, but he looks set to choose the Sky Blues.
Parker joined United's academy back in 2021 after a spell at Arsenal.
