Manchester City youngster Emilio Lawrence celebrated the prospect of another birthday with a great performance in the UEFA Youth League.
The Citizens were deserved 5-2 winners over Red Star Belgarde's youth side.
Lawrence, who will be turning 18 on Wednesday, scored either side of half time for Brian Barry-Murphy's team.
"I was looking for the hat-trick but maybe next time for that!" Lawrence reflected to club media post-game.
"It's my 18th birthday tomorrow so that was a nice way to celebrate.
"They were tough to play against but I thought we played well as a team and came out in the second half much better so I was proud of the boys."
