Manchester City striker Julian Alvarez has dismissed speculation about his tactical fit within the team.
Alvarez, a World Cup winner with Argentina, believes he can always play in the same team as Erling Haaland.
The two strikers were rotated last season, with Haaland starting the majority of games.
However, Alvarez has played next to Haaland more often since Kevin De Bruyne's injury absence.
There has been a lot of speculation about if we can play together or not," Alvarez told City's official magazine.
We have shown this season that we can do it. In fact, the previous season, too.
Whenever we have played together, we have scored goals and contributed with assists between us. I am happy for what he has achieved."
