Manchester City are ready to move for Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha.
The Daily Star says City are turning to the Portugal international after missing out on a deal for West Ham midfielder Lucas Paqueta.
City are readying a 50m bid for Palhinha next month.
The midfielder also remains a target for Bayern Munich, where a deadline deal on September 1 collapsed for Palhinha.
City will go for Palhinha once they move out Kalvin Phillips.
