Manchester City U18 coach Ben Wilkinson is delighted with the progress of captain Ashton Muir.
Muir scored twice in the 5-1 win against Derby County yesterday.
Wilkinson told City's website: Ashton's taken his goals really well and at half time I asked him go from playing out wide to playing as a full back and coming inside.
Ash is a really good footballer with good footballing brain and understanding of how we want to play.
He's a very flexible player and I feel I can trust him to play anywhere, and he'll go a great job for the team.
He nearly scored a third late on but in terms of his performance it was really good."
