Manchester City U21s thrashed West Ham United in London yesterday.

City's charge for a third successive Premier League 2 title continues after beating West Ham 5-1 at the Rush Green Stadium.

Kian Breckin scored the first goal of the evening with a tidy finish to see City go into half time with the lead.

Oscar Bobb hit a spectacular shot to grab the second moments into the second half, before Carlos Borges had a bit of help from West Ham's Freddie Potts to score the third.

Breckin doubled his tally for the evening on the break, then City were awarded a penalty which Alex Robertson dispatched confidently.

Divin Mubama scored a consolation in stoppage time, as another win extended the gap at the summit to five points.
