Manchester City's Under-21s were victorious at the weekend over Chelsea's youngsters.
Despite a solid display from the Blues and a consolation from Leo Castledine, they were not able to reign in City.
The Citizens were 3-0 up in the game through Oscar Bobb, Kian Breckin, and Carlos Borges.
With the game done and dusted, Castledine did get a late goal for Chelsea.
However, their fifth defeat of the season ended their chances of winning the league.
Meanwhile, City stay top with a seven point lead, having played one less game than second placed Chelsea.
