Manchester City youth coach Brian Barry-Murphy admitted he was proud of his Under-19s.

The Citizens' youth stars were 3-0 victorious over Young Boys in the UEFA Youth League.

With the senior side also winning by that score on Tuesday, Barry-Murphy's talented youngsters achieved the same outcome.

I enjoyed the game immensely," he told club media.

It was obviously different in the second half once we got in front, but I thought the performance was equally pleasing in different ways.

Overall, a hugely satisfying day for us all and leads us very nicely into the next game.

Reigan and Matthew for such young players had a really big impact in scoring in the first half which was hugely satisfying for them.

I think at the Club we're synonymous with producing wide players who can beat people one v one and it's probably one of the most exciting things to see.

Reigan has shown that in his Academy journey at how good he is at that aspect of the game and we definitely saw signs against much older opponents and his ability to do that.

Essentially the way we play takes us to that point, then we're hopeful at that point we can produce players who can create one v one situations and produce in the last action.

His impact on the game was pretty significant in terms of the score."
