Manchester City have slapped a €100m price-tag on Bernardo Silva.
The Portugal midfielder remains hopeful of joining Barcelona this month, with the Catalans also keen.
However, any move will be dependent on Barca making room in their budget to sign the player.
City are yet to field any offers for Bernardo, with the Athletic reporting they also do not intend to drop their current valuation.
Bernardo was the last player to leave the pitch after victory over Bournemouth on Saturday, with fans believing he was making a final farewell.
He later posted to social media: "A great performance from the team and a fantastic atmosphere! I would also like to thank everyone in the stadium for those beautiful moments of love and support that you showed me."
