Manchester City are closing on a deal for Boca Juniors left-back Valentin Barco.
The Sun says City want to sign the defender in January and loan him to Leicester City for the second-half of the season.
It could be a massive boost for promotion-chasing Foxes if City can clinch the deal during January's window.
Barco is also wanted by Brighton, but City are edging ahead in the race.
Boca expect to sell the youngster for a fee rising to 11m.
