Manchester City youngster Oscar Bobb has praised the huge impact of two coaches on his career so far.

Bobb has signed a new deal at City that will take him to the end of the 2028/2029 season.

The Norwegian has become a bona fide first team player this season under Pep Guardiola.

This week, he praised youth coach Brian Barry-Murphy and Guardiola, telling club media: [Barry-Murphy] was very important.

Before he came in, I hadn't really played any 23s football, I had only played 18s.

I struggled a bit in the 23s and then he came in and he showed a lot of confidence in me and helped me massively. I don't think I would have got the chance here if it wasn't for him."
