RANAU: A 41-year-old man was killed after being crushed by a Hitachi heavy machine he was repairing in Kampung Montoki, Kundasang, on Wednesday.
The Fire and Rescue Department received the distress call at 4.38pm and dispatched a team from the Ranau station, which arrived at 5.50pm.
Upon arrival, rescuers found the victim trapped beneath the machine and proceeded to extricate him from the wreckage.
