In a case of “mistaken identity”, a man’s encounter with a security guard at a mosque has garnered buzz on social media.
The conversation, which he recorded, saw the guard approaching the man before instructing him to “cover up his hair and put on a robe”.
As he repeatedly told her that he’s in fact a man and needn’t cover up, the latter firmly insisted that he should do so.
The incident has begged netizens to ponder whether there’s truly a “dress code” for men in mosques, and why was the guard so adamant in standing her ground.
