KINABATANGAN: A 20-year-old went missing after going to the river to test his boat in Kg Bengkala, around 11am, Tuesday.
A team from the Kinabatangan Fire and Rescue Station was deployed to the scene, after being alerted about Alner Kalim’s disappearance, about 4.38pm.
The man’s capsized empty boat was discovered by the villagers.
The search and rescue operation ended at 6.40pm on Tuesday and will resume today (Wednesday).
