BEAUFORT: A male suspect in his 30s was arrested following the discovery of syabu weighing 6.47 grammes, said District Police Chief Yusoff Zaki Yaacob.
Acting on information about drugs located in Kg Kabajang, the police arrested the man and found drugs in the suspect’s possession.
The man tested positive for drugs and the case is investigated under Section 39(A) together with Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act.
Meanwhile, in Papar, a male suspect was arrested in the Bongawan.
Papar District Police Chief Kamaruddin Ambo Sakka confirmed the arrest on Wednesday with the discovery of syabu weighing 5.11 grammes which was confiscated from the suspect.
He advised the public if they have any information related to drugs in this area to inform the police at 088-912 222.
