A man has been arrested after throwing a Molotov cocktail at a wheelchair user in a random attack.
Footage released on Tuesday (7 July) shows an individual in a wheelchair crossing the road outside the Oklahoma City Police Department HQ when the suspect threw the improvised incendiary device at the man.
He then pushed the wheelchair user over. Detectives and a Good Samaritan immediately rushed to help the victim, who is expected to recover from his injuries. Meanwhile, another detective detained the suspect, who said he picked the victim at random.
The suspect, named as Alexander Emery, was arrested and faces multiple felony charges, including first-degree arson, assault and battery with a deadly weapon, injuring another person by use of an explosive, manufacturing an explosive device, and assault with intent to kill.
