Turkey and Syria were not the only countries that were hit by the earthquake. On Saturday (February 12), an earthquake of 4.3 magnitude struck the northern Guangdong province, and the tremors could be felt in Hong Kong, reported South China Morning Post. The earthquake took place about 70 km north of the city.

However, a video that shows a kind man’s swift action in saving a kid during the disaster has gained much attention from netizens.

In a video shared on the Chinese platform Weibo, the man was initially sitting at the desk and scrolling through his phone. A child, who was the son of his employer was also seated nearby on the couch, with his eyes glued on the screen. When the earthquake struck, the man immediately stood up and escaped the house, without forgetting the little one.

If you notice, the child’s head touched the ground for a bit when the man carried him out of the house. According to the caption of the post, the man was asked by his employer to look after the child while his parents were out. Despite being carried upside down to safety, the child did not sustain any injuries.
