KUNAK: A 29-year-old man was injured after his Proton Persona skidded off the road along Jalan Kunak-Tawau on Wednesday night.
The Kunak Fire and Rescue Department received an emergency call at 7.37pm, and a team was dispatched to the scene, 28km from the fire station.
Firefighters rescued the victim from the vehicle and provided initial treatment before handing him to health authorities for further care.
The operation was concluded at 8.14pm.
