  • Mohammed Fahir Amaaz, 21, has been sentenced to three-and-a-half years in prison after being convicted of assaulting two female police officers at Manchester Airport in July 2024.

  • Amaaz was also found guilty of an earlier assault on a member of the public at a Starbucks café, which prompted the initial police response to the airport where the subsequent assaults occurred.
