Man Kidnapped Third Wife To Kelantan For Forced Vacation After She Refused To Register For Legal Marriage

In a deeply unsettling turn of events, a Malaysian man resorted to extreme measures when his wife refused to go with him on a vacation to Kelantan - he had her kidnapped.

The Ampang Jaya Officer in Charge of Police District (OCPD), Assistant Commissioner Mohd Azam Ismail, issued a statement on Saturday, October 21st, shedding light on this shocking case. According to the statement, a 38-year-old woman was approached by two unknown men on October 12th at an apartment in Jalan Ampang.

These men informed her that her husband was waiting for her at the staircase, but to her horror, when she went to meet him, she was forcibly taken to a car and driven to Kelantan against her will.

The ordeal did not end there. She was held captive in a homestay in Pasir Puteh, facing an unimaginable ordeal. It was only on October 13th, while her husband was asleep, that she managed to escape this harrowing situation.

Remarkably, this incident was triggered by the victim's refusal to accompany her husband on a trip to Kelantan and her decision to not register their marriage status. The victim was identified as the man's third wife, The Sun Daily reports.

Authorities managed to arrest two men on October 19th in Taman Ampang, Selangor. The first suspect, her husband, is a tahfiz manager, and the second suspect is employed as a tahfiz school assistant.

Investigations are still ongoing.
