KOTA KINABALU: A 41-year-old pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run incident, here, early Sunday.
Muhamad Azmi Atan was hit while crossing the roads near Sinsuran in the 1.20am incident.
His body was noticed by a motorcyclist who then alerted the police.
City police chief ACP Mohd Zaidi Abdullah said the cause of death was severe head injuries.
He also urged witnesses or anyone with information to contact investigating officer Inspector Muhammad Amirul Azri Zainal or the nearest police station.
