
PAPAR: A 63-year-old man was killed while his wife suffered serious injuries following a collision between a lorry and a four-wheel-drive, along Jalan Kampung Biau, here, Wednesday.
District Police Chief DSP Kamaruddin Ambo Sakka said the incident occurred at about 9am when a lorry, heading towards Kampung Kuala from Kampung Pedawan, went out of control while going downhill.

Despite immediate medical attention, Kamaruddin said the victim was pronounced dead at about 10.15am.
The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
