TELUPID: A 46-year-old driver was killed, while three passengers—a 45-year-old woman, a 14-year-old boy, and a 16-year-old girl—were injured after their Mitsubishi Triton crashed in Kampung Buis, Kiabau, on Friday.
Beluran Fire and Rescue Chief Edoen Macheal said they received the call at 9.02 pm and arrived at the scene, 70 km away, at 10.28 pm with five personnel.
Two victims were taken to Telupid Health Clinic by the public, while another was rescued before firefighters arrived. The driver was extricated using special rescue tools but was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
The body was handed over to the police for further action. The operation concluded at 11.30 pm.
