A man who paid RM150 for monthly parking on Pangkor Island was shocked to discover that two of his car tyres had been stolen, resulting in a loss of approximately RM2,000.

The incident came to light when the car owner posted about it on social media. According to his statement, he only became aware of the theft when a friend notified him. The car had been parked at the premises on the island since November 14.

In response to the incident, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) in Manjung, Perak, confirmed that they are actively investigating the case. They released an official statement explaining that the tyres and rims were valued at RM2,000. The case is being investigated under Section 379 of the Penal Code, which pertains to theft.
