PETALING JAYA: A man has pleaded for his teenage daughter to return home, weeks after the girl, a polytechnic student, is believed to have run away with her boyfriend.

Muksin Amrin, 56, filed a police report on Nov 10 about the disappearance of his daughter, Nurul Syuhada Muksin, 18, after being informed by her roommate a day before that she disappeared from her hostel at Politeknik Ungku Omar in Ipoh, Perak

He said he filed a second police report on Dec 20, stating that he had sought help from the man’s family to help track the pair. “However, the man’s family said they don’t want to know anything about the incident and they don’t want my wife and I to disturb them,” he said in the report.
