- Rahman, while on a bicycle, shouted antisemitic slurs, called the victim a 'dirty Jew', and accused him of 'killing babies in Palestine'.
- A video presented in court showed Rahman also threatening to 'break his jaw' during the unprovoked attack.
- District Judge Devinder Sanhu described the incident as a 'pure hate crime', and Rahman has been granted bail until his sentencing on 10 July.
