A 35-year-old man in Thailand stabbed his stepdad after a heated argument at a rented room on Soi Paniadchang 8, Central Pattaya.
Pattaya patrol police and rescue workers from the Sawang Boriboon Foundation rushed to the scene on January 12 (Sunday), where they found the stepdad, Krisada Marcha, covered in blood.

A knife was lodged into the stepdad’s head
When officers arrived, they found 36-year-old Sawang running down the stairs, covered in blood, with a sharp knife stuck in his head as he called for help.
Pattaya Mail reported that at the scene, police also found the victim’s stepson, Sathaporn Chieaplaem, who had also been injured in the head.
Sathaporn admitted to stabbing his stepdad, claiming the stepdad was the one who attacked first.
Rescue workers quickly gave him first aid before rushing him to Banglamung Hospital for further treatment.
They argued over how to fry an egg
On the day of the incident, they got into an argument over how to fry an egg, which quickly spiralled out of control and turned into a tragic violent incident.
According to Sathaporn, the argument escalated when his stepdad hit him with a soup bowl, causing a painful injury to his head.
In a fit of rage and frustration, Sathaporn grabbed a sharp knife and stabbed his stepdad.
Sathaporn explained that their frequent arguments were due to his growing dissatisfaction with his stepdad living with his mom, which had been causing tension for a while.
Police have since arrested Sathaporn and are holding him for further questioning at the Pattaya Police Station.
