Man shot dead while dining at a Sendayan restaurant; police investigating after witnesses report two vehicles arriving moments before gunshots.
PETALING JAYA: A man was fatally shot while having a meal at a restaurant in Nusari Biz Sendayan late last night.
Witnesses at the scene said the victim had just begun eating when two vehicles suddenly pulled up.
He reportedly ran across the road moments before several gunshots rang out, causing him to collapse.
According to New Straits Times, Seremban district police chief, assistant commissioner Azahar Abdul Rahman, confirmed the incident, saying authorities were alerted at 11.23pm.
“While personnel were on duty at the Seremban District Police Headquarters (IPD) operations room, we received a MERS 999 call from a man reporting a murder at a restaurant at the location.
“The case is still under investigation. We will provide further updates and details to the media,” he said.
