Man stabs wife to death before taking own life in Kepong

A domestic dispute in Kepong ended in tragedy as a man stabbed his wife before taking his own life, with both found dead in their home.

KUALA LUMPUR: A domestic dispute ended in a double tragedy in Kepong yesterday. A man stabbed his wife to death before taking his own life.

Sentul district police chief ACP Ahmad Sukarno Mohd Zahari (pic) said police received an emergency call at 11.43 am. The call reported two locals found lying in a pool of blood at a house in Sunway SPK Damansara.

Police checks found the body of a 54-year-old man with a stab wound to his neck. The body of a 52-year-old woman had 13 stab wounds, with 10 to the neck.

“The bodies were taken to the Forensic Unit of Kuala Lumpur Hospital for post-mortem,” Ahmad Sukarno said in a statement. The case has been classified under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
