Manchester United and Ajax were interested in Xavi before he reversed his resignation decision at Barcelona this week.
Relevo says Ajax and United inquired about Xavi's situation before this week.
It was back in February that Xavi announced that he intended to quit Barcelona at the end of the season.
But it didn't end that way. And Xavi's decision to stay with Barca has delighted president Joan Laporta.
He said, "I am happy to announce that Xavi will continue as coach.
"He made some statements saying that he was thinking about quitting, but yesterday I had the opportunity to speak with him and he told me about his confidence and ambition to continue with a project where he has already won."
