Manchester United and England are set to be without Luke Shaw for several months.
The left-back is facing missing the rest of the Premier League season with a hamstring injury.
Shaw has suffered a recurrence of the problem that kept him out for long portions of the campaign.
Per the BBC and other sources, United fear that Shaw could even miss Euro 2024.
"Luke Shaw has sustained a muscle injury and will be out for an extended period," said United in a statement this week.
"Further assessment is still needed to determine the severity but we expect him to be absent for a few months."
