Cristiano Ronaldo could yet extend his stay with Manchester United next season.
In the second of a two season contract with United, the striker and his agent, Jorge Mendes, have attempted to engineer a move away since the end of last season.
However, ESPN says Ronaldo could yet be convinced to now extend his stay.
The striker's contract includes a 12 month option, which can been triggered by mutual consent.
And there is a growing confidence that Ronaldo could yet commit to another year at the end of this season.
