Manchester United announced record revenues of 648.4 million for the 2022/2023 season.

United did achieve some cost reductions, with their wage bill dropping by 52.8 million.
The departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, and other big earners such as Paul Pogba, likely impacted that figure.
The club also reduces its players' wages when they are not in the Champions League, which they were not in last term.
United does still have long-term debt of 538 million, with all of it related to the Glazer family's leveraged buyout of the club nearly 20 years ago.
The club trumpeted its record ticket sales and attendances, while they also touted the 900 million Adidas kit deal.
