Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund has suffered an injury blow this week in training.

The Denmark attacker will miss two to three weeks of action with a muscle injury.

The 72 million summer signing has scored in six successive Premier League games.

A statement from the club read: "Rasmus Hojlund will miss Manchester United's Premier League game against Fulham on Saturday due to a muscle injury.

"It is expected to keep him out for two to three weeks."

Manager Erik ten Hag added to reporters: "It's a small injury, two or three weeks.

It's the risk, playing high intensity. It's not a big injury but he has to wait for two or three weeks."
