Manchester United have made a late attempt to trump Barcelona for teenage Brazilian Vitor Roque.
The Athletico Paranaense starlet is expect to join Barcelona this summer, with an agreement struck between all parties towards the end of last season.
However with no official announcement from either club, Roque remains in play.
And Mundo Deportivo says United are now making a late move to beat Barca to Roque's signing.
The youngster has stated he is keen to play for Barca, but United's spending power could sway Athletico Paranaense's thinking over the striker's next destination.
