Sir Jim Ratcliffe's purchase of 25 per cent of Manchester United is expected to be confirmed next week.
Ratcliffe's 1.3 billion deal for a 25 percent stake in United will be ratified next week, says the Daily Mail.
Ratcliffe will be taking sporting control of the club as well.
He will appoint personnel to oversee the footballing operations in an attempt to revive the sleeping giant.
United were a target for the Qatari royal family, but that interest appears to have cooled.
The Glazer family did not accept any offer for a full sale, with Ratcliffe's 25 percent stake purchase the only deal on track for completion.
