Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has hit pause on Andre Onana's African Cup of Nations participation.
The goalkeeper was named in Cameroon's squad for the tournament being held in January.
However, Ten Hag admits there is still work to be done regarding the exact time that Onana and a couple of his other players join up with their nations ahead of the tournament.
"The situation is that we're talking," Ten Hag said to reporters.
"We have good relationships with all the federations, it's about Sofyan [Amrabat], it's about Hannibal [Mjebri], it's about Andre, so we're talking with them."
Mejbri, who is not going to the tournament with Tunisia, tweeted on Thursday night: "Thanks to coach Jalel Kadri and the institution for their support.
You can only participate in such a competition by being ready and calm in your role. Courage to my teammates."
