Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has revealed he shook hands with Sir Jim Ratcliffe this week.
The INEOS owner was at Carrington as part of discussions with club staff about his proposed takeover.
Ratcliffe's INEOS are one of two primary bidders, with the other party being the Qatari royal family.
The Qataris met with United staff a day earlier, when the players and coaching staff were in Spain for a Europa League tie against Real Betis.
Ten Hag told reporters Friday: "I just met them and shook hands, but I am focused on the game [against Fulham ].
Others in the club are dealing with potential investors."
