Manchester United veteran Casemiro's fitness was again a talking point on Wednesday night.
The Brazilian midfielder had to come off at half time as he was suffering from a physical problem.
That is according to his manager Erik ten Hag, who took out Casemiro for Sofyan Amrabat in his team's 3-0 home Carabao Cup fourth round loss to Newcastle United.
Asked about the reason for the change, Ten Hag replied: "He was injured.
"Just before half-time, he got an injury. That's why we had to take him off."
On the length of the absence for Casemiro, he added: "I can't give an answer on that [now].
"We have to wait 24 hours, but I think definitely for Saturday, he is out."
