Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has dealt with a possible squad discipline issue.

The Dutch head coach is said to have privately handled Alejandro Garnacho's recent social media activity.

The forward liked posts on Twitter (now X) that suggested he was made a scapegoat by Ten Hag after a 2-2 draw against Bournemouth.

Garnacho, who was taken off at half-time in the contest, struggled to make an impact off the right wing.

YouTuber Mark Goldbridge had posted the following messages that Garnacho liked: "Garnacho has been one of our best players this season.

"Poor first half but taking him off at half-time and holding him up as the problem is a joke.

Many have done much worse week in week out and are still out there."
