Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag says Marcus Rashford missed today's win at Fulham due to injury.
Rashford was facing game after being publicly admonished by Ten Hag for holding a birthday party on Sunday just hours after defeat at home to Manchester City.
But Ten Hag insists today's absence was unconnected.
He said before the game that the striker is injured after receiving a heavy knock to his leg during the final training session. He underwent a fitness test on Saturday morning which he failed.
Asked if Rashford would have played against Fulham if fit, Ten Hag said: "Yes. I have said everything about it."
