Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag says Raphael Varane missed victory over Brentford with injury.
Varane had started each of United's last three games in all competitions.
He couldn't make the game, he had a minor issue," Ten Hag explained before kick-off.
If it was two or three days longer [between matches], he could have made it but now it was too short."
Ten Hag called in Jonny Evans for the 2-1 victory.
