Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag was delighted with Antony's performance for their 2-0 win at Nottingham Forest.
Antony struck the first and created Diogo Dalot's goal for the win.
Ten Hag later said: ''I defended him but he knows, I know as well. When you are a striker you need an end product, he already has it but he has scored in all competitions now and there are still games to go. He has to do it all the time and in every competition.
'In the Premier League, you are up against high-quality defenders and you need to make that decision in a split moment. Today is a moment when he did that. He is definitely making progress. I'm happy for him that he scored, and he had another one if Wan-Bissaka was not blocking the shot! He has to step up there but today is an example where he makes, with both goals, the right decision."
The manager also said: "We approach it game by game. We have to win, we are Manchester United. That has to be the approach.
"I know it will not always work out, if you play so many games sometimes you get setbacks, you get a draw in the week [against Sevilla], we made mistakes and had bad luck. But you have to learn from the mistakes you make and today it was a concentrated and focused performance, and that is what we need, especially when you go to the end [of the season].
"As I said before, the points are more expensive in this period of the season because they are all finals. [Teams] are really battling against relegation and they are battling for their lives. Or they're going for the top, so you have to really fight for every point."
