Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is keen to see Jonny Evans go around again next season.
The Daily Star says Ten Hag will recommend the veteran defender be offered a new 12 month deal.
The Ulsterman returned to United over the summer from Leicester City, winning a season-long contract after successful trials.
Evans has impressed for United when called upon by Ten Hag this season.
And the Dutchman is eager to keep him involved next term.
