Manchester United are considering handing Alejandro Garnacho a new shirt number.
Garnacho committed his future to United earlier this year, signing a new contract.
And the Manchester Evening News says United manager Erik ten Hag is ready to hand the youngster the coveted No7 shirt.
The number has been vacant since Cristiano Ronaldo's departure before Christmas.
And Ten Hag is said to have recommended Garnacho be offered the chance to take the number.
The No7 is the most revered number by United, where the likes of George Best, Bryan Robson and Eric Cantona have worn it.
