Manchester United's stars have been given two days off for rest and recovery by their manager.

Dutch coach Erik ten Hag is bitterly disappointed with how the team has performed in their last two matches.

But with fatigue catching up with his players in 1-0 losses to Brighton and West Ham United, ten Hag has given them two days off before they take on Wolves at the weekend.

Per The Athletic, ten Hag hopes the break will allow his stars to recharge and then get back to work later in the week.

United must now win three of their four remaining games of the season to guarantee a top four Premier League finish.

Newcastle and Liverpool are the other two teams vying for third and fourth spots.
